Monitor Technologies, LLC, with principal offices at 44W320 Keslinger Road, Elburn, IL USA, and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “Monitor” or “we” and associated pronouns) endeavor to be as up front as possible about the personal information we collect. In an effort to maintain this stance, we provide this privacy statement (the “Policy”) in relationship to your use of the Monitor “SiloTrack Cloud Service” and all associated websites, databases and domains. For the purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” means information that (alone or when in combination with other information within Monitor’s direct control) can be used to directly or indirectly identify, locate or contact an individual, e.g. customer and that can be linked to that individual. The term “you,” and related pronouns, will refer to each user (and each person or entity responsible for users) of the SiloTrack Cloud Service.

1. Scope
This Policy applies to the SiloTrack Cloud Services and all associated websites, databases and domains where Personal Information is collected, stored, transferred, used or otherwise processed. We encourage you to read and become familiar with this policy and terms. 

2. Personal Information Collected

Monitor collects and uses Personal Information only to achieve its business purposes and in compliance with applicable law. We may disclose it to recipients indicated in section 6 of this Policy.

2.1 Use of the SiloTrack Cloud Service

Monitor may collect, maintain and process Personal Information provided by or concerning users, on and through the website. We collect Personal Information from visitors to the website in order to better understand you and to respond to your needs and expectations. We may use Personal Information you have submitted to us for our internal purposes, including administration of our websites, security, data analytics and compliance with our legal obligations, policies and procedures.
By using the SiloTrack Cloud Service website you represent that 1) the Personal Information you provide is accurate, up-to-date and relevant for the purposes you provide it; 2) you are of sufficient legal age and have the authority to use the website (and to bind your company, where relevant), and 3) that you have read this Policy and consent to the use of your Personal Information collected by Monitor as described in this Policy if you provide Personal Information about a third person, you represent that you have the authority to provide us with his or her Personal Information and that you have received such consent on his or her behalf.
Use of the SiloTrack Cloud Service is voluntary and Monitor will not collect any Personal Information about you, unless you provide it to us. If you do not wish for Monitor to collect and process any Personal Information about you, do not provide it to us. We may also collect certain technical information by automated means when you visit a Cloud Service website and related websites, such as how many users visited our websites and the pages accessed. By collecting this information, we learn how to best tailor our websites to our visitors.
Some of the scenarios in which we may collect information for the website are the following:


2.1.1 Contact Us

If you communicate with us through any "Contact Us" or similar link on our websites, including SiloTrack Cloud, we may ask you for information such as your name, email address and telephone number so we can respond to your questions and comments. We also may use the information you provide to evaluate the quality of our products and to communicate with you about our products and services.

2 .1.2 Feedback and Support

You may be able to submit feedback or ask for support on our websites, including SiloTrack Cloud. If you choose to give us your feedback or ask for support, we ask you for information such as your name, email address, postal address, occupation and the name of your organization. We also ask you about your experience using our websites. We may use the information you provide to enhance our websites.

2 .1.3 Cookies

Like many companies, we use "cookies" on our websites. Cookies are bits of text that are placed on your computer's hard drive when you visit certain websites. 2.1.4 Web Beacons (as applicable)
Certain pages on our websites may contain "web beacons" (also known as Internet tags, pixel tags and clear GIFs) via Google Analytics and similar technology. These web beacons allow third parties to obtain information such as the IP address of the computer that downloaded the page on which the beacon appears, the URL of the page on which the beacon appears, the time the page containing the beacon was viewed, the type of browser used to view the page, and the information in cookies set by the third party. We use this information to better understand you and to tailor our content.

2 .1.5 IP Addresses

An IP address is a unique identifier that certain electronic devices use to identify and communicate with each other on the Internet. When you visit our websites, we may view the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet. We use this information as part of our security procedures and to determine the general physical location of the device and understand which regions of the world our website visitors come from. We also may use this information to enhance our websites.

2.2.1 Consumer and Marketing

Monitor takes reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Information we collect is relevant for the purposes for which it is to be used and that the information is reliable, accurate, complete and current. We maintain the business contact details of our business customers and their employees, agents and contractors who may contract or reach out to us on their behalf. We depend on individuals, e.g., consumers and customers, to update or correct their Personal Information whenever necessary.

2.2.2 User Accounts
We may collect information for the use of the SiloTrack Cloud Service, and we may provide you with a user account. These accounts are subject to the terms and conditions of the SiloTrack Cloud Terms of Service (available at https://www.monitortech.com/legal/stcloud-terms.shtml) and policies referenced, including an Authorized Use Policy (https://www.monitortech.com/legal/authorized-use-policy.shtml) and guidelines respecting the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (https://www.monitortech.com/legal/dmca-statement.shtml). We will use your Personal Information to provide you with access and the ability to use the SiloTrack Cloud Service and for any other purposes related to it. We may also use your contact information to market similar products or services.


4. Security

Monitor will maintain administrative, technical and physical security safeguards that are reasonably designed to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Monitor employees and contractors who have access to Personal Information are obliged to respect the privacy of our visitors and customers and the confidentiality of their Personal Information.


5. Disclosures to Third Parties

In addition to the uses outlined in this Policy, we may disclose your Personal Information (i) if we are required to do so by law or legal process, (ii) to third parties who provide services to Monitor, (iii) to law enforcement authorities or other government officials, or (iv) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity. If we detect that you have transmitted cardholder data via unsecured channels, we may notify the card issuer and provide details of the unsecured transmission. We may also disclose your Personal Information upon your written request or with your written consent.
When we do use third parties to provide services, we take privacy and security seriously. We choose providers who are industry leaders to secure and protect your Personal Information.
Subject to applicable law, we reserve the right to transfer any Personal Information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business assets. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use Personal Information you have provided through our websites in a manner that is consistent with this Policy.

6. Data Retention

Your Personal Information will be retained according to the rules of US law and usually for the length of any statute of limitation period. After expiration of the relevant terms, your Personal Information collected by Monitor may be deleted.


7. Correct/Update

Monitor provides individuals with reasonable access to the Personal Information maintained about them and gives users the following options for changing and modifying information previously provided.
We also provide the opportunity to correct, amend or delete information where it is inaccurate. We may limit or deny access to Personal Information where providing such access is unreasonable, burdensome or expensive under the circumstances or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
