Elburn,
IL - The NEWSiloTrack™ Inventory
Management Software Version 3.0 provides users with an
unsurpassed flexible graphical interface for use with SiloPatrol® Model
SMU "smart" sensors.
Together SiloTrack Server
and Client software can provide inventory management to a
virtually unlimited number of users via LAN, Internet/WAN
or Dial-up modem. Users of the SiloTrack system
can be both internal and external to a facility. This allows
for easy implementation of remote inventory monitoring and
vendor managed inventory applications.
Some
of the new features in Version 3.0 are an easy-to-use Setup
Wizard, foreign language customization, standard report generator
and easy handling of multiple sensor vessels. This is in
addition to the other outstanding features of SiloTrack including
the ability to export history or alarm data and initiate
analog/relay outputs via the SiloPatrol Auxiliary
Output Enclosures. Additionally, SiloTrack can
setup auto, manual or auto/manual measurements and four alarms
and relays per silo.
The
free demo CD includes BOTH the Server and Client software
packages (sold separately) to demonstrate the simplicity
of use and functionality of using SiloTrack V3.0
in multiple PC LAN or remote access environments.
Elburn,
IL - Monitor’s TrueCap® Model
MK-2e is a value-priced and versatile point level control.
Utilizing RF Capacitance technology, the MK-2e is suitable
for solid, liquid, and slurry applications.
The
Model MK-2e has several standout features including high
sensitivity, buildup immunity and a wide assortment of probe
types and options for improved versatility. Additionally,
the MK-2e has a twist on/off cover for easy to installation
and convenient access.
A
high intensity LED is standard on all Ordinary location integral
sensors providing local visual indication of power and material
presence/absence without removing the cover.
Approvals
are often an important factor when selecting a level control.
The MK-2e caries the CE Mark on all Ordinary location units.
For Hazardous locations, the MK-2e is available with both
Class I and II approvals allowing one model to serve virtually
any application. Both the Ordinary and Hazardous location
units are CSA(US/C) approved.
The TrueCap® Model MK-2
RF Capacitance point level probe is designed to provide a superior
and stable sensitivity threshold making it suitable for a variety
of powder / bulk solids and some liquid or slurry applications.
Advanced features of the Model MK-2 include: > Automatic immunity to material build-up on
the probe by its driven shield design > Push-button calibration > Enhanced temperature compensation > Maximized reliability via smart sensing algorithms
like “self-validating” fail-safe protection > Visible status LED on ordinary location units > Versatility through a variety of configuration
options including: hazardous location version, split architecture
design, quick-connect process connection, stub probe, cable extensions,
solid extensions, Nylon® probes, Ryton® - equiv. probes,
etc.
A practical application for the TrueCap would be to use this level sensor where
a residual material build-up on a different sensor would cause a false material
level indication.
Principle of Operation for the TrueCap RF Capacitance Level
Probe:
The vessel wall and the active probe element establish an impedance reference
between each other when exposed to air which has a dielectric constant of 1.
When materials with a dielectric constant greater than 1 are in close proximity
to the probe, the impedance of the sensing field between the sensor and the vessel
wall will change. Once the amount of change exceeds a threshold that was electronically
determined during the calibration process, an output relay will either be energized
or de-energized depending upon the position of the fail-safe selector on the
probe’s electronic circuit board. A change of as little as .5 pico-farad
is all that is necessary for the probe to sense the presence of material.
